Numarit now runs in Windows 7
Numarin, Nmplot and Nmmix already worked in 64-bit Windows 7, as did the
Windows shell of Numtrun. However, calculations using Numtrun failed
because the programs it called were 16-bit DOS applications, which are
no longer supported by Windows. Now, in Version 2, these programs,
Numarit, Pluscc and Numprned have been translated and compiled in Fortran
90 for Windows, so that the whole package runs in Windows 7 just as well
as it does in Windows XP or earlier, as far back as Windows 95

Numarit has slightly different rounding errors in calculated transition
frequencies and chemical shifts, compared with the previous version, but
these are well below the range of significance

Users of Windows XP or previous who want to reproduce exactly the previous
results, including their insignificant errors, may tailor the package by
substituting the previous version of Numarit to do the calculations.

To upgrade, users who already have Version 1 are advised to replace all
the provided .exe and .bat files with those now provided in Version 2,
because it has been necessary to make a file name change, which could prevent
Numtrun from working if a mixture of old and new versions is used
