CD8 T cells

IL21 concentration [pM]
CD8-depleted and CD4-depleted spleen cells were activated for 1 day with ConA, then transferred to medium
containing various concentrations of IL2 or no cytokine, together with titrated doses of IL21.  Growth was
measured 3 days later.
Conclusions
1.  IL21 neither enhanced nor inhibited the growth of ConA-activated T cells at any dose tested.
2.  IL21 preferentially controls the growth of NK cells rather than T cells.
