DATA/RESULTS FOR ROTTERDAM EXERCISES
DOING THE ASSESSMENT ON WINDOWS (DOS)
Make a new directory (folder) in your home space and save the input data
files in it. You will also need to save a copy of the Genehunter program and an
additional Cygwin library in the same directory:
gh.exe
cygwin1.dll
You can then run Genehunter from the cmd window in DOS, in the same
way that
we ran PLINK and EMIM during the course.
Should you wish to do the analysis in Merlin via the cmd window in DOS,
you will also need to save
a copy of the Merlin and Pedstats programs in the same directory:
merlin.exe
pedstats.exe
However, you would have to create appropriate Merlin-format input files
in order to run the analysis.
