Topics include the design and impact of regulatory constraints (rate of return, price caps etc.), pricing issues (access pricing, Ramsey pricing, margin squeeze, tiered wholesale pricing etc.), market definition, the measurement of market power in horizontal markets and vertical chains, the regulatory cost of finance.
Finance and Investment
Topics include short termism, replacement investment, optimal economic life, the impact of real options, asset pricing models, market efficiency, corporate finance and capital budgeting issues etc.
Management Accounting
Topics include cost allocation, transfer pricing, and the role of information in organisations.
Experimental Economics
Topics include experiments in learning environments with applications to management accounting issues.
