We are interested in a great variety of questions, for example, the biogeography of widespread species, taxonomic relationships, population structure in relation to mating system, paternity in social groups, and many more.

To answer these type of questions we perform many types of DNA analyses, such as, chloroplast RFLP analysis, microsatellite analysis and sequencing, in  plants as well as in animals. Lately we were successful in developing microsatellites for several species.

See our projects page for our research foci.
