- SITE = institution purchasing a copy of Functional Anatomy of the Rat (Interactive Dissection) which includes the Rat Anatomy Resource Disc (video disc) and Video Rat Stack (software).
- IMAGE/S = any image, video or icons appearing on any materials developed by the author in connection with the video disc or software described above.
- MACHINE/S = Macintosh microcomputers owned by, and residing at, the site.
- PAGES = these www / html pages.
General Information

i.e. a single copy of the Rat Anatomy Resource Disc and multiple installations of the Video Rat Stack software are permitted as per the site license.
- The software may be installed onto as many machines at the site as required (within definitions above).
- Backup copies of the software discs may be made and stored.
- Copies of the video disc may NOT be made.
- Images may be digitised or printed at the site ONLY for educational/teaching use (not for profit or gain).
- Images may NOT be modified in any way.
- Images and video may be incorporated in other teaching materials (e.g. CAL) which are NOT distributed for profit or gain, providing the authors of images etc. are credited in ALL CASES. I would appreciate receiving notification if you intend using images in this way (please use the form below).
- The FARID authoring software may be freely used and distributed providing the author is credited (e.g. "Hypercard authoring software courtesy of Megan Quentin-Baxter.")
- Permission for any other use of the images (e.g. in commercial software) MUST be sought from the authors prior to intended use. All applications will be considered favourably.
- Images appearing on these pages may be used by individuals employed or studying at full time educational institutions provided they are not modified and the author is credited. (e.g. "Image/video courtesy of Megan Quentin-Baxter.")
I realise the above sounds constraining, but I am really trying to release as much functionality for free as I can, but I am wary of inciting the wrath of someone who may feel they have a stake in this project. I don't want to be a copyright test case. Basically, the rule of thumb is that, because I don't make any money out of this, I want credit if you find any aspect of this work useful to you. I welcome suggestions and requests, although I may not be able to respond immediately.
