A teacher or other person with
access to the password for the program can completely configure the program from changing annnotations and the
text which appears in response to entering a keyword (after clicking on the Information
tool), to adding images which automatically inherit the programs functionality.
Change Labels
Change Lables tool allow you to change the annotations on a single screen or in
the whole stack. Simply enter the current annotation and 'replace' it with the
preferred text. The author is offered a choice of changing annotations on the current
page or in the whole stack.
This might be especially useful for converting the program to another language.
Add Text
Add Text allows you to add or change the text relating to a defined keyword. The program prompts for the keyword to be defined and then presents a blank space for the definition to be added. (If the word had been defined previously, the old defintion is presented for modifying.) All new text is automatically * cross referenced.
New keywords and definitions are
automatically cross referenced with the existing text.
Delete Text
Delete Text allows you to specify a keyword to delete from the database. All hypertext references to it are also automatically deleted.
Adding New Computer Screen Pages
If you make a new card in the authoring environment, the program automatically copies all necessary buttons, scripts and functionality.
Providing some simple conventions are followed, the program can highlight, generate questions around incorporate all new material.
