The tests described in this report were carried out to the order of Marconi Marine (YSL) Limited in accordance with the recent proposal [1] submitted to Ship Stability Research Centre which were acting on behalf of YSL. The objective of the tests was to predict the levels of the surface pressures on the wall and bottom of a dry dock during engine trials with a brake wheel fitted in place of the ship's propeller.
