Simple Answers
The enantiomeric excess is 60% and the optical purity is 45.8%. Since these
values are not numerically equal, the sample probably does not exist as
monomeric species. Instead, intermolecular hydrogen bonds probably result
in the formation of diastereomeric dimers, trimers etc.
