Enhanced Diagrams
Colour and / or 3D versions of many of the chemical structures / reaction
schemes / figures presented in the book are available. Printing costs meant
that the highlighting of groups in the book had to be achieved using different
fonts, font styles, or line styles. In these enhanced diagrams however,
this has been replaced by the use of different colours to represent different
groups which should aid visualization and comprehension. Where appropriate,
rotatable 3D structures are also given.
These diagrams are best viewed in conjunction with the text of the book.
Please choose the chapter for which you wish to view the colour / 3D
diagrams:
note: these pages are still under development. At present, colour
diagrams are available for all chapters but 3D structures are not available
for part of Chapter 8.
