Babs married Percival BROUGHTON "Percy", son of BROUGHTON, on 31 Jul 1936 in Hanwell. Percy was born 6 Aug 1905 in Plumstead. He died 6 Oct 1967 in Hillingdon Hospital.

Percy was a metal finisher at HMV Hayes, Middx (where he gold plated the microphone for the first Christmas broadcast by George V), then at Martin Baker Aircraft Co. Ltd. who made "ejection seats".
