1925 Finished school.
     Moved to Chichester.
1926 Worked as mother's help.
1928 Moved to Bury.
1929 Probation nurse.
1931 Training as SRN.
1934 Qualified as SRN
1936 Married Percy.
1938 Sandra born.
1939 Joined Labour Party.
1940 Roger born.
1941 Compiling electoral rolls.
1942 David born.
1943 Peter born.
1949 Started Meals on Wheels.
1952 Working for Hayes & Harlington Old People's Welfare Committee.
1956 Martin Born.
1959 GCSE English 69%.
1960 Chairman H & H OPWC
1961 16,000 Meals on Wheels per year at 1/- each.
1961 Trade Union Scholarship to Split Yugoslavia.
1965 Old People's Holiday - St Leonards.
1966 Ceased to be local agent for Arthur Skeffington, MP for H & H.
1966 Old People's Holiday - Hastings.
1967 Percy Died.
1969 First heart attack - age 57.
1970 Meals on Wheels for 7000.
1971 Labour councillor.
1973 Hospital - heart attack.
1974 Old People's Holiday - Bournmouth.
1974 Lost councillor seat.
1975 Now doing: Meals on Wheels,

1988 Tunstall Telecom Caring Award.
1988 Pace maker fitted.
1989 Moved to flat in Melbourne House.
1990 Awarded MBE for old people in Middlesex.
1991 End of Meals on Wheels activity.
1992 Working in Age Concern shop.
1995 Spell in Abbeyfield House.
1996 Hospital.
1997 Died in Hillingdon Hospital.

"Old People's Holiday" entries are from 1974 to 1984
but they took place every year and may have begun before 1974
and finished after 1984.

and those figure suggest a holiday party of just 30
so it must have been a holiday in the 1960s.

not to mention 5 children and a husband.
