Sewer Diversion

Picture

The manhole in the foreground is the existing public sewer which
went to a chamber near the tree trunk at the top left hand corner of the photograph.
It is being diverted up to the new chamber which intercepts the
private Brookside sewer, then continues down to the second new chamber
where it turns through ninety degrees to the bottom existing chamber near the tree.

Picture

This is the top new chamber. Public sewer going left to right.
Private Brookside sewer entering bottom left.
And more interestingly at the top is the drain from the new dwelling!
This is the first part of our new house. It is the drain for:
Two toilets, two sinks, two showers, one bath, and one utility sink.

Picture

Having diverted the sewers, Geoff trundled his BobCat back and forth
to level the site for our the new building
Down there is Margie talking to Paul near the new top chamber.
