Bottom Half Up

Tuesday 21th February 2006.

Despite heavy rain and hail overnight, it dawned dry with a cold NE wind.

End of day

They were on another roll, and by 4pm they had half the logs up,
and were breaking open the second pack to check what was inside.

Swimming pool

Those top logs are temporarily there just in case there is a strong wind overnight.
You are looking through what will be three full height windows,
two of which will open. That is the living room and the start of a plinth for a
wood burning stove. (No we are not having an internal swimming pool, the puddle shows just
how good the waterproof membrane is. If none can get out, none can come up.)

To the left is the beginning of a kitchen window over the sink.
You can see the front door in the far wall.
