A very cold start, minus 3 degree C overnight.
Tony and John unpacked the final 'indoor' package and stacked it in the garage
out of the weather. There is still some soffit needing doing on the right side of roof.
They would finish that off today.
In the meantime Kimmo and Matti were nailing sliding brackets to upright timbers.
They are on a hot drink break, although sunny it was cold, finger freezing.
Meanwhile Margie is slaving over a hot stove, lucky her, but that is not the way she sees it.
Here are the Finns, hopefully satisfied, about to start the blackcurrent pie after
homemade leek and potato soup,
baked jacket potato with roast shoulder of lamb, swede and frozen peas (cooked!)
with an onion meat sauce gravy and mint sauce. I wish I was a skilled house builder!
Their office is the greenhouse, and in the sunshine it is a pleasant place, I commented so but
they said there were no deckchairs to relax on. So I got them camping chairs.
Tony said that just a few years ago Kimmo wouldn't even allow a tea break.
Just look at him now, must be getting old.
