Another grey start, but no bother, it is dry.

Kimmo & Co got to work. Matti downstairs finishing the inside of the external walls,
Kimmo and Tony up above on the first floor beginning the roof.
The scaffolders arrived, Gary & Co. There was something wrong with the scaffolding erected yesterday,
Gary said tell me what you want, I did, he did. It meant undoing some erected scaffolding.
Whilst the scaffolders were erecting a platform around the outside, Kimmo & Co lifted the 8' x 4' boards inside
to make a platform around the inside. Oh! They also lifted and fixed the beam running bottom to top of this picture.

Whilst Matti slaved away alone fixing uprights to the inside of the walls below,
Kimmo and Tony erected wooden scaffolding around six upright posts that will support the two ridge beams.

A nice photograph of Kimmo with Brookside in the background.

Margie wanted a photo of me. I might look a bit of a Charlie but the high visibility coat
is warm, comfortable, and has gigantic pockets. Actually I am quite useful and things would have gone worse
had I not been taking an interest. Matti is there busy in the corner.

Matti is inserting insulation in to corners that would later be inaccessible.

Kimmo and Tony are here working out where to put the rafter ironwork on the walltop.
They will similarly fix the brackets to the two big ridge beams before they are craned in to place.
So when there, some of the rafters can be quickly fixed in place to hold everything steady.
Another aspect of being up here is the view around about. We are walking to where windows will be
and seeing what the view will be.

Here is back to the original standard view from Margie's bedroom, now it is worth taking again.
The house has risen above the garage
