Tony arrived, so three of them beavered away fixing the rafters.
It was cold but the roof was fixed. We got Stephen the roofer in to check it was OK.
Here is the rafter fixings. I am pleased they started on the ceiling
else there might not be much to photograph. Whilst they were busy I went off and bought
six hundred 100mm nails to fix the counter battens, and ordered the insulation,
468 meters long, 600mm wide, 100mm thick, that goes in between the rafters.
Still working at 5pm in the fading light, drizzle and cold.
We will have to organise a topping out ceremony.
