Yesterday I did not update the blog.
The whole day was taken up with fashioning and fixing metal sills.
The brown sill is delivered fixed in the window frame.
The black one is the locally fashioned one.
Having fixed it in place silicon sealer is applied to waterproof it.
When Kimmo applied the last bit he said, "Now house water tight".
Whilst Kimmo was busy with sills Matti was stuffing insulation around the windows,
and readying inside for installing insulation in the roof. We won't see this after tomorrow.
Sunday afternoon they went for a walk, just an hour and a half, 5.5Km
from Cresswell to Druridge Bay Country Park. It was not sunny like yesterday, but warm enough,
and it did not rain. This was the first time in 26 days that they did not work when it was daylight.
