Not updated blog for a couple of days. Not really much to photograph.

This morning finished installing insulation upstairs. Bagged waste offcuts, removed tools and things
vacuumed everywhere upstairs. Moved downstairs to insulate there.

Spent about two hours tidying up, laying temporary flooring, removing timber I bump my head on,
and did a run to the recycling centre with a car load. The boss guy there queried what I was recycling,
when I told him I was building my own house he said I was a business and should get my own skip.
By the end of the day 3/4 of downstairs had insulation in the outer walls.
Middle right is 2.75 cubic meters of expanded polystyrene to line the upper floor ceiling.
I calculate the house is 540 cubic meters, the insulation is 40 cubic meters of mineral wool,
9 cubic meters under the ground floor, so with the polystyrene totals about one tenth of the volume of the house.

Margie was saying that the underfloor heating was not needed with so much insulation.
However, today, there was a winter shower sufficient to justify heating indoors.
