Just a quick update. Steady progress inside. Updating now (Thursday 20th April), because
Tony and John will not be here tomorrow, or Saturday and Sunday, because Tony is off to Nottingham
to take part in horse driving trials.

Yesterday they got on to installing the 25mm expanded polystyrene layer inside the roof.
Not really their choicest job, they much prefer working in wood, but it needs doing, and it is a job.
It is held up with 25mm thick battens to which is fixed the plaster board.

Meanwhile Margie is planting potatoes in our devastated garden, hoping it will help clean the soil.
The rows of spuds are between the posts, (offcuts off roofer's batten).

Whilst I am fixing guttering and drainpipe to the garage.
One small problem, I am missing 500mm of gutter in the middle, you can just see the gap.

This is a photograph of the polystyrene at the end of the 19th. It really is fiddly work.

This gives an idea of the thickness of the roof. It is full of insulation.
