We are a bit stuck at the moment. The next phase is the plastering.
That cannot start until the flue is in place and I am having to seek professional assistance of a flue fitter.
Once the flue is in the ceiling upstairs it can be repaired where a hole was made for the flue.
When that is done boxwork can be made around the flue where it passes through the bedroom then we can get the plasterers in, a 3-4 week job and messy
Perhaps the holdup is not a bad thing because we have sold our house
Brookside East.
We are moving to a smaller, two bedroomed place next door called Brookside Cottage, on the 24th May.
I still wake up in the early hours making list of things to do and in what order and worrying about problems.
On Wednesday I popped awake and decided to get up and go to the Big Waters nature reserve,
just a mile away and look for otters. Didn't really think I would see any but better than lying in bed making lists.
I took some photographs, nothing to do with house building, but they are
HERE.
