Did an hour's worth of wood treatment on the South face.
But it was such a miserable damp, wet, day that I could not face much more.
Just to bring you up to date, after all it is 5 days since the last update.

Big Alan and Ken often work together. They are finishing off the South wall of the South/East room.
Notice the glassy smooth finish of the right hand wall. They are all like that.

This is the shy one who does not like to be photographed, but he is quite happy with this.
In the finishing stages of a wall they use a wet brush and wooden float.

That's me using a "stand-off attachment" on the ladder to do the eaves of the West side
Unix the female/bitch dog, though she does not think she is of the canine species, more a human relation,
lies behind the ladder on the hardcore.
She is having a difficult time, having just moved from Brookside East, (which was her first home),
into Brookside Cottage, where we hardly ever are, because we are working in Brookside Lodge.

Here it is! One side of the house completely wood treated. Just had to get Margie in the picture.

Then we got the delivery of the Ground Water Heat Pump. It weighed 130Kg.
I mean, I got some bits of wood, but this guy man-handled it off his waggon, single-handed.
Most drivers would have taken it back to the depot. Thankyou who-ever you are.

Later in the same day we took delivery of the under floor heating pipework,
and manifolds, and thermostats, and Control/Timer boxes, and ...

... meanwhile, we can hear it the whole time, a nest full of baby Blue Tits.
Here is a parent returning with an insect for the young. They do it every few minutes.
