This is after the plumber's first second fix. The bathroom is coming on.
I have fixed the panels around the bath, but the shower cubicle needs making.
Margie and I have decided to do it ourselves, rather than pay someone else to do it.
So this is the before photograph.

This is the during photograph. We are not tiling but wet walling the walls.
Wet wall is a plywood base coated with a hard ceramic like coating. Here it is fixed in place.
We used two long quick grips to push the wet wall into place,
using pallet and balks of timber, and two smaller grips.
Margie holds the no-nails fixer and silicon sealer that we used to do the job.
Oh! if you do not like the colour of the wet wall, blame Margie, not me, she chose it.

This is the after photograph. Margie is dead pleased. (So am I).
The glass door and side panel are fixed in place, silicon sealed and screwed to walls
and each other with 20 screws.

We discovered QUICK-GRIPs. Each is like a third hand.
You pull the small trigger to free one grip and move it to the thing you want to clamp,
the other grip being against the opposite side, then operate the big trigger that moves the clamp
one way only. It really clamps with a strong force!. Brilliant! Clever. You can let go.

This is Monday 2nd October 2006. Graham is finishing the brickwork pointing.
David is clearing away the rubble. They really were good at tidying up after themselves.
We are very pleased with the job they have done.
Graham Sydney can be contacted on 01670 714311 or 07939 131518.

This a day's picking of Margie's tomatoes. We have a glut of them. But they are a picture.
Most of them are cherry tomatoes, and so tasty.

Wednesday 4th October, John-the-gate turned up to fix the rail for the gate,
assisted by an Estonian exchange student called Airea.

Here it is the rail in place.
Today, Thursday 5th October, Margie and I saw the 4 meter gate,
and decided on the decorative bits. It'll take 3-4weeks to be galvenised.
Then when it is fixed we can return the Heras Fencing to Speedy Hire in Wallsend.
