Woolsington Bridge

This is the burn entering the Woolsington Bridge that carries the B6918 over the burn.
It is a substantial construction with a steel reinforced concrete roof.

The traffic now is quiet, just local traffic, because the A696 dual carraigeway takes the bulk.
The bridge is quite wide, grass verge on left, two carriageways, and side road on right.

The burn exits via an archway which suggests that the bridge was widened on the upstream side,
the original bridge just carrying the side road.
