Dr Sam A. Mutter

https://sammutter.wordpress.com/

I’m Sam Mutter; I am Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Northeastern University, London. Prior to this, I undertook a PhD in Mathematics under the supervision of Dr Alina Vdovina at Newcastle University in the UK.

I’m interested in the connections between operator algebras and geometry. Recently, I’ve been looking at higher-rank graphs, Bruhat-Tits buildings, and geometric group theory, with a particular emphasis on cube complexes. I’m also a fan of all kinds of mathematical outreach, board game design, and languages dead and alive.
