Our work focuses on understanding prostate cancer biology and therapy resistance using advanced human systems that improve translational relevance and support responsible research practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in stem cell biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, or related disciplines. The research programme combines organoid model development, genome engineering, advanced imaging, and transcriptomic approaches to address clinically relevant questions in prostate cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lab provides a supportive and collaborative research environment, with opportunities for interdisciplinary training and close interaction with academic, clinical, and industry partners. We are committed to inclusive research practices and to the professional development of early career researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PhD and MSc opportunities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective PhD and MSc students are encouraged to get in touch to discuss potential projects, supervision, and funding routes. We regularly support applications to UK and international doctoral training schemes aligned with cancer research and NC3Rs priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Summer students and short term projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The lab is occasionally able to host undergraduate and MSc students for summer research projects, subject to capacity and funding availability. These short term placements offer hands on experience in organoid culture, cancer biology, and translational research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students interested in summer or short term research projects are welcome to contact the lab to discuss potential opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>International applicants<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>International students are warmly encouraged to contact the lab to discuss potential PhD and MSc opportunities.
