Her research focuses on developing advanced human relevant organoid models to study prostate cancer biology, disease progression, and therapy resistance. Her project focuses on generating androgen deprivation therapy resistant organoids and using these systems to screen alternative therapeutic strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research integrates organoid culture, drug screening, advanced imaging, and transcriptomic approaches. Indianna contributes to a Prostate Cancer UK-funded project, co-led by Professor Craig Robson and Dr Adriana Buskin, investigating how BRCA2 and SPOP alterations influence prostate cancer development and treatment response in men of African ancestry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indianna&#8217;s work focuses on developing human stem cell-derived prostate organoids, including the maintenance and differentiation of iPSCs, genetic modification, and sample preparation for molecular and histological analysis.
