The entire Neumann group presented their work at this year’s Goldschmidt Conference, which took place in lovely Paris. Jim was the first to go and presented in the session on ‘SUSTAINABLE SOIL REMEDIATION: BIOGEOCHEMICAL FOUNDATIONS AND INNOVATIVE APPROACHES’. Kath and Anke both presented Friday afternoon in the session on ‘BIOTIC AND ABIOTIC IRON REDOX TRANSFORMATIONS IN NATURAL AND ENGINEERED SYSTEMS’. All engaged\u00a0successfully with the research community and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.<\/p>\n

During the conference, we also met colleagues from all over the world, for example Zhantao Han from the China University of Geosciences, Wuhan. (From left to right: Jim, Kath, Anke, Zhantao)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Last but not least, Kath and Jim also brought back a souvenir for the M\u00f6ssbauer, which – for obvious reasons – could not travel to Paris.<\/p>\n
