Jim and Anke both presented at this year’s CMS Meeting, which took place\u00a0in Urbana-Champaign, Il, USA from 11 to 14 June. The presentations were scheduled in parallel sessions at exactly the same time, so no exciting pictures of the action of\u00a0presenting, unfortunately. One highlight of the conference was clearly the pre-conference barbecue at Joe Stucki’s house (thanks to Joe and his wife again!) – complete with a CMS cake!<\/p>\n

Another highlight was the conference dinner, which was held in the University’s football stadium and where Jim – also officially – received his CMS travel award from the current CMS president.<\/p>\n
