PAT for Windows is useful for assigning mass spectrum isotope patterns, but what about the parts of fragments, or whole fragments, made from elements which do not show prominent isotope patterns?
FRAG for Windows is an arithmetic program which works out easily what combinations of mass numbers add up to a mass which is to be assigned. It has no chemical intelligence, but presents the user with all the combinations, so that a reasoned choice may be made.
