These files were sequenced in under 2 weeks in late May-early June 2001 by Dr. James Pitt-Payne and the Karaoke was performed by Bunty Pritchard Jones using Karwin.

To make them universally useable I have reverted to the midi extension in this set but if played in Van Basco, or Mark's Player - or possibly other players, the words will show up.

Regarding the sound; so many sound cards produce different results. Here a Yamaha SW60XG was written for and all these files may safely be played under the XG banner.

All the files are free.

You may slow the midis and change tempo if you wish to utilise them for rehearsals. The musical directors may wish to do this and then burn the resultant 44K wavs into a CDR and I would have thought this would produce a very good result. It certainly works for me.

You may want to change the instruments to suit your sense of hearing better. I wrote this as per a pit orchestra with aspirations to the concert platform. Somewhere the instruments are listed but use these and quote note per note as per the score and the sound is somewhat soul-less. Hence I did all the orchestrations here as well from a piano score.

A brief acknowledgement in very small print to Bunty and me is the most we would expect should you ever use them in a show.

Personally, I am always pleased if anyone out there is still listening to this kind of thing. Heaps of music are rotting on rubbish dumps and this Vocal Score was one of them.

Enjoy!
