{"id":146,"date":"2021-03-15T11:54:54","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T11:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.staff.ncl.ac.uk\/linglab\/?p=146"},"modified":"2021-03-15T11:54:55","modified_gmt":"2021-03-15T11:54:55","slug":"welcome-to-the-upgraded-digital-linglab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.staff.ncl.ac.uk\/linglab\/2021\/03\/15\/welcome-to-the-upgraded-digital-linglab\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to the Upgraded Digital LingLab"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After a year of pivoting to remote research, we are pleased to present the newly upgraded and refurbished digital and remote branch of the Experimental Linguistics Laboratory!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The on-site branch of the LingLab is also undergoing refurbishment, and will be hopefully re-opening before too much longer (this will be in line with local and government guidance and will likely be in a reduced capacity for a while).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the resources we now have available include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A laboratory license for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labvanced.com\/\">LabVanced<\/a> online experiment and survey platform<\/li><li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/zencastr.com\/\">Zencastr<\/a> account for recording uncompressed audio (WAV) remotely<\/li><li>A renewed subscription to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sketchengine.eu\/\">SketchEngine<\/a><\/li><li>USB microphones to be shipped to participants for recording high(er) quality audio remotely<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact the Lab Manager for help accessing these resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a year of pivoting to remote research, we are pleased to present the newly upgraded and refurbished digital and remote branch of the Experimental Linguistics Laboratory!
