About Me

I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, where I also currently live. In between, I obtained a Physics degree from Manchester university, and a PhD from University College London. My PhD and subsequent research work at London related to the development of near infra red spectroscopy and tomography techniques for monitoring / imaging haemoglobin concentrations [1-17]. In Newcastle, I work on neuroimaging analysis and programming psychometric tests in the Institute for Ageing and Health

When not staring at a computer, my other interests include trying to play the bassoon .
