Our work centres on developing cost-effective predictive models, in-house analytical tools and experimental frameworks to support the offshore, ocean and marine energy\u00a0sector including renewables, nature-inspired technologies, oil &amp; gas, and subsea flow transportation systems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"878\">We investigate the impacts of vortex-induced vibrations (VIV), ocean currents, waves and wind loads on offshore, underwater and subsea infrastructures, aiming to improve their operational reliability, safety and performance.
