Oxy-Acetylene Flame
If mixed in equal proportions oxygen and acetylene produce blue flame
- The most brilliant blue part is in the centre
- luminous regions contain carbon particles
- In the innermost core
- In the outer envelope
- The combustion is therefore complete
Since the process consumes oxygen the surface is protected from oxidation
