I have made pioneering advances in processing of a wide range of novel materials (e.g., graphene, 2D materials, carbon nanotubes, and conducting polymers) into flexible and wearable films, micropatterns, fibres, yarns, and textiles that could store energy or sense strain, pressure, or touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">My research interests include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Synthesis and processing of functional materials such as 2D materials (graphene and MXenes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Energy storage and conversion including batteries, supercapacitors, triboelectric nanogenerators, and solar cells<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Wearable electronics and e-textiles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Advanced fibre fabrication processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Structure-property relationships of materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-dark-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-dark-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research Funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">2025\u00a0 S.
