Battery Manufacturing

We manufacture lithium-ion battery electrodes via both slurry casting method (wet-coating) and solvent-free power coating method (dry-coating). The manufactured electrodes will be assembled into small format cells within a glovebox and then tested by a multi-channel battery charge-discharge cycler and a potentiostat with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. High energy density cathode active materials will also be able to synthesized in the lab.

Additive manufactured micro-scale graded battery electrodes to improve C-rate performance compared with conventional uniform electrodes due to the reduced charge-discharge voltage hysteresis from 0.93V to 0.50V, leading to the enhanced capacity retention at high rates.
