About me

I am a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow working within the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Prior to moving to Newcastle University, I worked at University of California San Diego (USA) as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Troemel lab.

My subject is on host/pathogen interactions, I typically focused on microsporidia, which are fascinating highly specialized eukaryotic parasite found in almost all animals.

used differents microsporidia/host models coupled with proteomics and genetics to decypher the strategies that pathogens use to attack their hosts and how hosts defend themselves against these attacks.
