Materials Chemistry
We are applying our expertise in metal alkoxide chemistry to the preparation of oxide materials from solution. This hydrolytic procedure is referred to as the Sol-Gel process or, more generally as Chemical Solution Deposition. We are particularly interested in the deposition of functional electroceramic thin films with non-linear optical, magnetic, piezoelectric or pyroelectric properties.
