Before you request access to the HPC system please look at the standard ISS batch processing system. The HPC system is designed for very large jobs that exceed the capacity of the standard batch processing system.
To log into the HPC system you need an ISS Unix account. To register, visit ISS Reception on the ground floor of Claremont Tower. Students will need to take their smartcard with them.
Your ISS Unix account is separate from your Windows account.
Once you have an ISS Unix Account email iri-hpc-service@newcastle.ac.uk requesting access to the HPC system. In the email please include your your course and/or department and a summary of the work you will be doing on the HPC.
Return to HPC index.
