  • West Cambridge Digital Twin Research Facility (Funded by Construction Innovation Hub through the UKRI Industrial Strategy Fund, 2019-2022): establish a national research facility and demonstrate how to develop a federated digital twin and its value.
  • TwinAIR: Digital Twins Enabled Indoor Air Quality Management for Healthy Living (Funded by Horizon Europe, 2022-2025): develop an indoor air quality-oriented digital twin model for determining the best building operation and maintenance strategy.
  • Creating an inter-hospital resilient network for pandemic response based on blockchain and dynamic digital twins: a systems approach for now and future (Funded by UCL CBT Project on COVID-19 and Distributed Ledger Technologies, 2021): demonstrate the inter-hospital network to configure digital information for pandemic rapid response using blockchain.
  • Using IoT data to produce Mixed-Fidelity Building Models (Funded by Pitch-In Mini Project Award through Research England, 2020): establish a mix-fidelity multicomponent building energy model, leveraging sparse IoT sensors and virtual sensing.
  • Research on big data analysis and cloud service for urban drinking water network safety (Funded by Natural Science Foundation of China, 2016-2018): develop a data-driven approach to detect and locate the water leakages in urban water supply infrastructure.
