The Neumann Group members use a variety of techniques, which require access to specialized equipment. These are the instruments we have in our lab.

Within the Schools of Engineering and Natural and Environmental Sciences we also have access to a long list of additional equipment, among which we use:

  • FT-IR (Nicolet, ATR Diamond cell; also DRIFT accessory and KBr holder available)
  • GC-MS, GC-FID, GC-ECD
  • UHPLC (Thermo Fisher)
  • ICP-OES
  • ICP-MS (Agilent 7700 Series, with He-mode collision cell)
  • XRD (in CEAM)
