Jim has won a travel grant from the Clay Mineral Society to attend the Society’s Annual Meeting in June this year. The meeting will be held in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, and Jim will present the results of his work in a presentation titled Microbially mediated abiotic reduction of clay mineral iron: understanding the role of secondary precipitates for contaminant remediation.
