When I received my first 'revival', I didn't want to copy the poster. I had been reading a lot of books about Victorian Theatre around this time, particularly melodramas, and I loved the ridiculously wordy posters. When I came to do this, which really allowed me to delve deeply into my large collection of fonts, I copied several of the most fruity sentences I had come across. I loved - there was so much to read, and its 'busyness' was a great contrast to the usual poster. I have subsequently recycled it a number of times when I needed a poster at short notice!
