Tungsten precursors.

The oxoalkoxides WO(OR)₄ were prepared from WOCl₄. With less bulky primary and secondary alkoxo ligands, the compounds have binuclear structures and rearrangement occurs readily by intra- and intermolecular processes.¹

Compounds W1-W4 with the OR groups 1-4 were used for these studies.
